SmartScreen has improved retention rates and retention by about 50% in our Milton Keynes Centre.  It has given our learners the opportunity to take more responsibility and self-direction with their learning.  The worksheets provided have been very good in encouraging the Learners to research specific aspects and the projects have been invaluable as they increase our learners self motivation and gives them something to work towards when the tutor is not available.

Tutors that have used SmartScreen have found it to be an invaluable tool.  The schemes of work and lesson plans have not only enhanced the learning and achievement of our learners, it also helps tutors to manage their time more efficiently and effectively.  The schemes of work and lesson plans have already been produced, reducing the amount of administration tasks carried out daily by tutors and freeing up more time to teach.

I would definitely use SmartScreen to support further qualifications in the near future. Not only is it value for money, easy to use and navigate round the site, the tutor forums have been particularly useful to us as they tutor forums have been very beneficial in sharing knowledge and asking questions with colleagues from other centres, we have also found them very good for improving the Schemes of Work in the Business Admin (Technical certificate) qualification.
